Product Description
This mighty clone trooper was once part of the Old Republic?s superior fighting force. Now dedicated to serving the Galactic Empire, Emperor Palpatine reveals that this trooper and select others are part of an experiment in body-morphing technology. The Emperor enters a secret code and this clone trooper changes shape and morphs into a modified ARC-170 starfighter. The trooper obeys his programming and spearheads attacks on planets that resist the Emperor?s control. The classic Star Wars villain is now an awesome mode-changing figure that you?ll find to be full of surprises!
Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism
Durability: Fun: Educational:
I bought this for my 5 year old son, who is very handy and likes to assemble and disassemble things. Upon opening it, I found the instructions nearly impossible to follow to transform it from ship to trooper. My son was completely unable to make even part of the TWELVE STEP transformation process. I myself had great difficulty with it. The parts feel flimsy as well, so I'm not sure how long it would last. As a ship, it's fun for him to play with. The guns that attach to the ship have missles that you can shoot quite far (across a room) by pushing a button. The buttons, however, are tiny, about the size of a matchhead. My son can only push them with great difficulty, and even I often need to push two or three times just right with my thumbnail to get it to shoot. Overall, I'm not pleased with this toy. It's rated 5 years plus....in my opinion, even a 12 year old would have trouble transforming this and making the guns shoot.
