The best thing is that it stands up by itself. But three wheels makes it harder to turn (can't lean so well) and my daughter hits her foot on the wheel when she pushes off (a problem you don't get with 2 wheeled scooters). If you are on the fence about 2 or 3 wheels, probably you should try 2. I have a feeling we might be heading that way at the end of the summer. This particular scooter seems fine, put together fast, ride is safe, daughter loves Dora. Don't expect front pack to be there too long. Seems flimsy.
