I have not had it long enough to know how well the battery holds up but am not too worried about that. The only reason I did not give this five stars is because I had a previous edition which was in stainless steel with a soft leather case, and smaller----and thus more handy. Further I am not "digitally gifted" so I fumble about a bit in trying to open it. But it surely does a great job once I get it open. I do not regret my purchase---not one bit.
