We were disappointed on Christmas when it turned out the car uses the new "dot" type batteries. When I purchased it online, there was no mention of what I consider a "special" type of battery. As you know, most toys use AA, AAA, etc. I now know more and more toys are utilizing this type of battery. It would have been very helpful if I had known this before Christmas Day!
