The new SanDisk Pro Duo 1 GB Gaming Memory Stick lets you turn your PSP (PlayStation Portable) or other hand-held device into a fully-loaded, multimedia entertainment device. It is a perfect solution for anyone who needs to capture and play back DVD-quality video in real time, or store CD-quality music, high-resolution digital images, and any other application that requires high performance, fast data transfer, large capacities and advanced security.
The Pro Duo memory stick offers larger storage capacities than standard memory stick cards, so you can store your game saves, view and store images, play your favorite videos, as well as listen to digital music. Fast transfer-rates help prevent data loss when power is suddenly cut-off, or in case the media is removed accidentally. This game card utilizes exclusive MLC memory and controller technology developed at SanDisk, and advanced security with Access Control Function and MagicGate technology for safe transfer of copyright protected content. The Pro Duo also includes bonus gaming content for EA Sports Madden NFL '06, which allows gamers to receive 100 points toward their Assistant Coach Franchise mode. This unit features a one-gigabyte capacity, although users should be aware that some of the listed capacity is used for formatting and other functions, and is thus not available for data storage. The Pro Duo memory disk also features a stylish translucent-yellow casing, and high transfer speeds, and comes with a manufacturer's limited five-year warranty.

I own this card and the Sony 1 GB version. This card when writing data to the psp via usb cable copied a 728 meg movie file in over HALF the time as the sony. (...) Also, I like the plastic case that comes with this card over the little sleeve that the sony card came with. The first day I had this card, I received the card at work. I put the card and the case in my pocket, then of course forgot it was in there. Pants got washed over the weekend. I realized this after the pants were in the dryer, and a cold chill came over me remembering the card was in the pants! After being washed and in the dryer, I though for sure it was toast. The card had a small water bubble i could see through the yellow casing. Popped it in my psp. It formatted fine. Then i copied my movie, which like I stated earlier, is still twice as fast as Sony's overpriced card. I give this card TWO SUDS up.........
